About Jon Lee

I completed my bachelor's and master's degrees in Accounting at SUU. I then worked as a tax accountant for Piercy, Bowler, Taylor and Kern (PBTK) in Las Vegas and earned my CPA while there. Finally, I recently completed my PhD in Accounting with a Tax emphasis at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. I couldn't be happier to be teaching at SUU where I found my initial love for accounting and tax specifically. I hope I can have the same positive influence on students as past professors have had on me. Go T-birds!

My research examines methods to influence taxpayer behavior through experiments. I am also currently working with the Washington Department of Revenue to examine effective audit selection methods.

Additional info:
I am married to Morgan and have four awesome little boys - Travis (6), Luke (4), Levi (1) and Tyson (0). The joys of my life.
I love running and other sports - I ran for the SUU cross country and track teams from 2007-2014.
